Midcap pharma entity declares Rs. 490/ share dividend
The company Sanofi India has recommended for payment of a final dividend of Rs.181 per equity share of Rs. 10 each for the year ended 31st December 2021 and a special dividend of Rs. 309 per equity share of Rs.10 each for the year ended 31st December 2021, after considering the slump sale and transfer of Company's nutraceuticals business during the year and reviewing the cash requirements for the Company's operations.
If approved the same shall be paid on May 4, 2022.
For the said dividend, the stock shall turn ex-dividend on April 12,2022.
Sanofi India’s Q4 results
The company's Revenue from operations has come in at Rs. 7042 crore as against Rs. 7692 crore in the previous quarter, while in the same quarter in the year ago period was placed at Rs. 7365 crore. Profit at the company also narrowed down year on year to Rs. 904 crore as against Rs. 1230 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Previous dividend history
The company has a good dividend pay out and its last year's dividend equates to 3650% or Rs. 365 per share.At the current share price of Rs 7311.10 this results in a dividend yield of 4.99%.
AGM and book closure date announced
The company has informed BSE that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from April 16, 2022 to April 26, 2022 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of Payment of Final Dividend (including Special Dividend) & Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company to be held on April 26, 2022.
