1. ITC:
ITC in its quarterly results announcement made on February 3, 2022, declared an interim dividend of Rs. 5.25 per share and the record date for the same is February 15, 2022. At the current share price of Rs. 234.45 per share, this translates into a dividend yield of 2.24%.
Total income at the firm for the December ended quarter based on the consolidated statements came in at Rs. 18787.7 crore, higher than the corresponding period of last year of Rs. 14670 crore. Profit at the company also came in at Rs. 4056.7 crore during the period under review.
The company is said to be in limelights and has recommended to be a stock on the watchlist given no sin tax introduction is deemed as beneficiary for the stock.
2. Gillette:
The company in its filing to the exchange dated February 2, 2022 said we are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today, inter alia, have recommended an Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2021-22 of Rs. 33 per Equity Share (Face Value of Rs. 10/- each). The dividend shall be paid on or before February 28, 2022. As informed earlier in our letter dated January 27, 2022, record date for the purpose of eligibility for payment of said Interim Dividend shall be February 10, 2022.
