Twin Extravaganza: 2:1 Bonus Shares & Interim Dividend Declared; A Power-Packed Stock?

"The Board of Directors of the Company has considered and approved 1st Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2024-25 of Re. 0.10/- (Ten paise only) per equity share of the face value of Re. 1.00/- (Rupee One only) each (i.e. 10% of the face value) amounting to Rs.1,13,82,500 (Rupees One Crore Thirteen Lakhs Eighty Two Thousand Five Hundred Only). The Interim Dividend shall be paid within thirty days from the date of its declaration. The Board of Directors has fixed the record date as Friday, January 17, 2025 for determining the eligibility and entitlement of the equity shareholders for the said Interim Dividend," said Vantage Knowledge Academy in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

Vantage Knowledge Academy Bonus Shares

"The Board has considered and recommended a Bonus Issue in the ratio of 2:1 i.e. 2 (Two) new fully paid up Equity Shares of Re. 1/- (Rupee One only) each for every 1 (One) existing fully paid up Equity Share of Re. 1/- (Rupee One only) each held by the eligible shareholders as on the Record Date (to be determined by the Board), subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company," Vantage Knowledge Academy confirmed in a regulatory filing on 7th January 2025.

"The Bonus shares once allotted shall rank pari-passu in all respects and carry the same rights as the existing equity Shares and shall be entitled to participate in full in any dividend and other corporate action, recommended and declared after the issue and allotment of such Bonus Shares," the company further informed to stock exchanges.

22,76,50,000 equity shares of Re. 1/-each would be issued as bonus shares, drawn from the company's free reserve as of December 15, 2024. While Rs. 27,88,52000 is available in free reserve/retained earning of the company for capitalisation as of December 15, 2024, Rs. 22,76,50000 would be used from Free Reserve/Retained Earning of the company for the implementation of the bonus shares.

Vantage Knowledge Academy Financials

Vantage Knowledge Academy's net profit increased 207.14% to Rs 0.86 crore in the September 2024 quarter from Rs 0.28 crore in the September 2023 quarter. Compared to Rs 0.70 crore in Q2FY24, which ended in September 2023, sales increased 67.14% to Rs 1.17 crore in the quarter that ended in September 2024 or Q2FY25.

Vantage Knowledge Academy Share Price Target

"Vantage Knowledge Academy stock price is bullish on the Daily charts with strong support at 178.6. A Daily close above resistance of 199 could lead to a target of 234 in the near term," said A R Ramachandran, Independent Research Analyst.
