This Small Cap Education Company Declares a Dividend Of 60% & Bonus Shares

Aptech Ltd, a vocational training services provider has announced a dividend of 60% and a bonus issue while posting its fourth quarter results. The small-cap company posted a total income of Rs 13,816.28 lakhs for the fourth quarter against Rs 3,995.47 same period last year.

Aptech posted the details through the securities exchange filing on Wednesday after the board meeting held. In the company filing, it was given that the company has posted a net profit of Rs 3,320.25 lakhs for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 2305.89 lakh in Q4FY22.

For the full year FY2023, the company reported a total income of Rs 28,053.71 lakhs and a net profit of Rs 5,533.99 lakhs. It has grown from last year's values of Rs 15,918.31 lakhs and Rs 3,766.37 lakhs respectively.

Dividend & Bonus details

The Board of Directors of the company declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10/- each for the financial year 2022-23 (i.e., 60% of the face value), subject to the approval of the shareholders in the ensuing annual general meeting ('AGM'). The company has also fixed June 01, 2023, as the record date to note the eligible shareholder names entitled to dividends.

Further, the Board approved to issue bonus shares to the equity shareholders of the company in the ratio of 2: 5 [ i.e. 2 (Two) Equity shares for every 5 (Five) equity shares] held as on the record date, subject to the approval of the shareholders in the meeting by postal ballot.
