Sensex Gains 245 Points In Morning Trade Amid Mixed Global Cues, Rupee Rises

BSE Sensex gained 245.45 points to 57,899.27 in morning trade at 9.22 am amid mixed global cues. NSE Nifty jumped 29 points to 17, 015. The markets in the US ended mixed overnight.

Meanwhile, Indian rupee gained 20 paise at 82.17 per US Dollar.

Shares of Hindalco rallied over 2% in early trade. UPL shares jumped over 1%. Shares of BPCL, Apollo Hospital, and Adani Ports witnessed a fall of over 1%.
