SBI Reintroduces 400 Days 'Amrit Kalash' FD Scheme, Offers 7.60% To Senior Citizens
India's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI), has reintroduced its special retail term deposit, known as the "Amrit Kalash." Under this FD scheme, senior citizens will get an interest rate of 7.6 per cent and non-senior citizens will get an interest rate of 7.10 percent. It is a special 400-day tenor Fixed Deposit scheme.
This special retail term deposit scheme previously introduced by the bank on February 15, 2023, which was valid till March 31, 2023.
The scheme was reintroduced by the bank on April 12 and is valid till June 30, 2023. The scheme is applicable to domestic retail term deposits in rupees, including NRI term deposits under Rs 2 crore.
According to the SBI website, "The specific tenor scheme of "400 days" (Amrit Kalash) at Rate of Interest of 7.10 % w.e.f. 12- April- 2023. Senior Citizens are eligible for a rate of interest of 7.60%. The Scheme will be valid till 30 June 2023."
