Mid Cap Stock To Pay 350% Dividend Soon, SBI & HDFC MF Held Stake In Q4

The company has declared a final dividend of 350% for FY23, and in order to determine the eligibility of the shareholders for the purpose of the same, the company has fixed record date.
"In respect of Final Dividend for FY 2022-23 of Rs. 7/- per Equity share (350%) recommended by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 08, 2023 and pursuant to Regulation 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company has fixed Thursday, July 06, 2023 as the "Record Date" for the purpose of determining entitlement of members to Final Dividend, if declared at the 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Company. The final dividend will be paid on or before August 14, 2023, if declared," said Kalpataru Projects International in a stock exchange filing.

The firm recorded revenue of Rs 4,882 Cr in Q4FY23, increasing 18% YoY from Rs 4,135 Cr in Q4FY22, on a consolidated basis. The firm said that its EBITDA for the quarter ended March 2023 was Rs 440 Cr, up 46% YoY from Rs 302 Cr achieved during the quarter ended March 2022. According to Kalpataru Power Transmission, its net profit for Q4FY23 was Rs 140 Cr, up 22% YoY from Rs 115 Cr in the same quarter last year. According to Kalpataru Power, its revenue grew by 11% YoY to Rs 16,361 Cr in FY23 from Rs 14,777 Cr in FY22. According to the company, EBITDA climbed by 17% YoY to Rs 1,481 Cr in FY23 from Rs 1,264 Cr in FY22. The company's net profit dropped 19% YoY, from Rs. 535 Cr. in FY22 to Rs. 435 Cr. in FY23.
On Thursday, the shares of Kalpataru Projects International closed on the BSE at Rs 527.60 apiece down by 0.60% from the previous close of Rs 534.65. The stock reached a 52-week-high of Rs 597.15 on (13/03/2023) and a 52-week-low of Rs 345.00 on (06/07/2022). During Q4FY23, the company reported promoters' shareholding of 47.23%, FIIs stake of 6.92%, DIIs stake of 37.76% and public stake of 8.08%. As per the shareholding pattern of Kalpataru Projects International for January to March 2023 quarter, Sbi Small Cap Fund held fully paid up equity shares of 1,32,05,365 or 8.13% stake, Hdfc Trustee Company Limited-Hdfc Flexi Cap Fund held a fully paid up equity shares of 1,59,65,131 or 9.83% stake in the company. In addition, Nippon Life India Trustee Ltd-A/C Nippon India Small Cap Fund held 31,70,133 shares or 1.95% stake, Kotak Mahindra Trustee Co Ltd A/C Kotak Multicap Fund held 94,71,561 shares or 5.83% stake and Icici Prudential Value Discovery Fund held 1,29,26,520 shares or 7.96% stake in Kalpataru Projects International. These figures indicate that mutual funds had a stake of 36.13% in Kalpataru Projects International during Q4FY23.
