Interim Dividend Alert: Small Cap Stock Sets Rs 9/Share Payout, Record Date March 27—Time To Book Profits?
One of India's oldest conglomerates, Naperol Investments, was established in 1954 and is a part of the Wadia Group, which specializes in leasing and investment business. Following the Board's announcement of the interim dividend for the fiscal year 2024-2025, Naperol Investments, a small-cap stock, closed 0.64% down on the BSE on Friday at Rs 868.50 per share, with a market valuation of Rs 499.13 Cr.

"In continuation to our letter dated March 18, 2025, and pursuant to Regulation 30 and 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform the Exchange that the Board of Directors at its meeting held today, i.e. March 21, 2025, have considered and declared interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 of Rs. 9.00/- per equity share i.e. 90% of face value of Rs.10/- per equity share. Further, the Board of Directors have fixed Thursday, March 27, 2025, as the Record Date to determine the eligibility of shareholders to receive the aforesaid interim dividend. The Interim Dividend is subject to deduction/withholding of applicable taxes and will be paid within the stipulated timelines as prescribed under law," said Naperol Investments in a regulatory filing on Friday.

As per Moneycontrol, the company's net sales for the December 2024 quarter were Rs 1.39 crore, increasing 29.58% from the December 2023 quarter's Rs 1.07 crore. In the December 2024 quarter, the firm recorded a net loss of Rs. 0.26 crore, which was 148.54% lower than the Rs. 0.53 crore it reported in the December 2023 quarter. In the third quarter of FY25, EBITDA was negative at Rs. 0.34 crore, falling 158.62% from Rs. 0.58 crore in Q3FY24.

"Naperol Investments stock price is bearish on the Daily charts with strong resistance at 939. A Daily close below support of 835 could lead to a target of 780 in the near term," commented A R Ramachandran, Independent Research Analyst.
