JLR Retail Sales Soar 21% YoY In Q2: Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) retail sales witnessed a surge of 21% YoY to 106,561 units for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023. It also included the Chery Jaguar Land Rover China JV. The company announced retail sales of 88,121 units in the corresponding quarter of preceding fiscal. "Retail volumes were higher in all regions year-on-year," stated theh company in a statement on October 5. "Overseas up 56%, North America up 32%, Europe up 16%, UK up 9% and China up 7%."

Meanwhile, consolidated revenue for the quarter reported at Rs 1,02,236 crore, up 42.1%, as per the BSE filing. The company's consolidated earnings before, interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) soared over fivefold YoY to Rs 13,218 crore. Operating margin grew by a huge 860 basis points YoY to 13% as compared to 4.4% in the year-ago period.
