We would like to inform our readers that we have just highlighted the schemes that are No 1 and are not suggesting to invest, hold or to sell the units. We have not done any analysis and the above rankings are based on the CRISIL rankings for which the agency would have its own parameters. What we can advise investors at the moment is that the Sensex this week has hit a new historic high and investors in equity mutual fund units have made good money. Having said that, investing through the lumpsum route when markets are trading very high can be a little risky. A better option would be to use the Systematic Investment Plan route where investors can average costs. Overall, investors over the last 3-5 years have made very good returns in the markets and the present stock market momentum looks strong.
