1. Sanofi India Limited

Sanofi India Limited in its board meeting held on February 23, 2er interim dividends, dividends or special dividends through stock exchange filings. Gi023 approved a final dividend of Rs 194 (1940%) per equity share along with a special dividend of Rs 183 (1830%) per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each. This combined dividend of Rs 377 will be paid paid on or after 22nd May 2023. This would result in a dividend yield of 6.56% based on current stock price. The company has set a book closure period from Saturday, 29th April 2023 to Thursday, 11th May 2023 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of final and second special dividend for the year 2022.

In August 2022 the company paid a one-time special interim dividend of Rs 193 per equity share. Combining all the dividends declared for the financial year 2022, the total dividend declared till now is Rs 570 per equity share. If we calculate the dividend yield for the financial year on the total dividend amount resulting from the current market price of Rs 5740.60 per share it would be 9.92%.

2. Vedanta Limited

The board of directors of Vedanta Limited approved the fifth interim dividend of Rs 20.50 per equity share i.e., 2050% on face value of Rs 1 per share for financial year 2022-23 amounting to Rs 7,621 crores. This interim dividend will be paid by Friday, April 07, 2023, set as the record date. The realised yield as per the current market price of Rs 279.65 per equity share turns out to be 7.33%. The company has a good dividend track report and has consistently declared dividends for the last 5 years. In the previous financial year, ending in March 2022 Vedanta had declared an equity dividend of 4500.00% amounting to Rs 45 per share.

3. Schaeffler India Ltd

Schaeffler India Ltd, in its board meeting approved to pay a dividend at the rate of Rs 24 (1200%) per equity share of face value Rs 2 each, for the financial year ending in December 2022. To pay the dividend the company has set a book closure period beginning from Wednesday, April 12, 2023 to Tuesday, April 18, 2023, both days inclusive, for identifying the list of members eligible for the payment of Dividend. At the current market price of Rs 2825 per equity share, the declared dividend results in a dividend yield of 0.85%.

4. Nestle India Limited

Nestle India Limited has recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 (750%) per equity share of face value Rs 10 each. The company has fixed April 21, 2023 as the record date for determining entitlement of the members to the final dividend for the financial year ending 2022. Along with the final dividend, the company recommended 2 interim dividends of Rs 25 and Rs 120 per equity share, respectively in financial year 2022. The total dividend declared for the year stands at Rs 220 per equity share compared to Rs 200 per equity share in CY21, a 10.0% increase. The realised dividend yield for the year, at the latest share price of Rs 19600 results in 1.12%.
