The Vaishno Devi Yatra, initially set to start on September 14, has been delayed once more due to continuous rainfall. A spokesperson from the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board announced on X that the yatra's commencement is postponed until further notice because of ongoing rain at Bhawan and along the track. Heavy rains in Jammu have led to a tragic landslide, resulting in 30 deaths and several injuries after the Chenab River overflowed.
