Trent's Subsidiary Acquires Additional 4.95% Stake In Fiora Online Ltd For 4.10 Crore
Booker India Limited (BIL), a subsidiary of Trent Limited, a Tata Enterprise, on Tuesday (October 3) informed that it has acquired 4.95% equity shares of Fiora Online Limited (FOL) from the shareholders. The acquisition of FOL equity shares by BIL is for cash consideration of Rs 4.10 Crores.
Fiora Online operates a retail business under the brand name 'Starquik'. It had a revenue of Rs 155.68 crores as of March 31, 2023.

Purchase of shares in the ordinary course of business. Post this acquisition, the shareholding of BIL has increased to 100.00% of the equity share capital of FOL. Consequently, FOL becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of BIL.
The acquisition of equity shares of FOL by Booker India Limited (BIL) from a shareholder is not a related party transaction. None of the Promoter Group companies have any interest in the said acquisition of shares except to the extent of their indirect shareholding in the respective companies. The transaction is done at an arm's length basis.
Meanwhile, the shares of Trent on Wednesday closed 1.58% lower at Rs 2,022.30 apiece on the BSE. It declined 4.28% in 1 week. It gained 16.48% in 3 months and 48.99% in 6 months, respectively. It has given 41.16% positive return in 1 year, 200.40% in 3 years, and 479.12% in 5 years, respectively.
Its 52-week high price is Rs 2,185.30 apiece and its 52-week low price is Rs 1,155.10 apiece on the BSE. It has a market cap of Rs 71,890.23 Crore.
