Will The Devil Movie Become A Hit?
As per Koimoi report, while there's no official word about the budget, The Devil was reportedly made at 20 crores. Against this cost, the film must earn 20 crore net at the Indian box office to enter the safe zone and avoid being a failure. Based on the buzz surrounding the film, it is expected to enter the safe zone within 2-3 days.
The Koimoi parameters reveal that to become a hit, a film must secure at least 100% returns on the budget they spent.
So if Devil bagged Rs 10 crore box office on Day 1, and if the movie's budget is Rs 20 crore. The Devil requires another Rs 30 crore box, to collect a total Rs 40 crore box office collection. The chances of this happening is high.
The Devil Movie Review:
As per The South Cinemaa, Movie is a big disappointment with routine politics, poor scene flow, rushed editing & even Krishna's wig looking completely off. Darshan's forced comedy doesn't help either. Except for the stylish Devil avatar and a decent interval block, nothing really works. Overall, one of the weakest films from this team.
On the other hand, the Karnataka Box Office said, "The Devil team played it smart by pushing early morning show prices to Rs 400, Rs 500 and Rs 600, ensuring some solid upfront earnings. Otherwise, producer Prakash would've faced even bigger trouble, given the weak ground reports.
The Devil Movie Ratings:
As of now, The Devil has received between 1.5 star to 3 stars out of 5 on various channels. However, 85% on Google voted that they liked the film.
