After making a strong start at the movie screens, the film is inching closer to the Rs 50 lakh mark. Thamma's box office collection on day 2 stood at Rs 18 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Thamma movie earned an estimated Rs 18.1 crore on Wednesday, October 22, as per Sacnilk data. The movie had earned an estimated Rs 24 crore on the first day. With this, the movie's total box office collection on day 2 stood at Rs 42.1 crore.

The movie is the latest franchise of the Maddock's Horror film universe and has links to Varun Dhawan's Bhedia. The movie's post credit scene also offers a glimpse into the next instalment of the franchise, Shakti Shalini. Saiyaara-fame Aneet Padda will play the lead role in Shakti Shalini.

Thamma Day 2 Box Office Occupancy

Thamma's overall box office occupancy in the Hindi version stood at 25.97% on Wednesday, October 22. The Hindi (2D) occupancy consisted of 10.21% in morning shows, 29.47% in afternoon shows, 31.96% in evening shows, and 32.25% in night shows. The movie's (2D) version has an overall occupancy of 40% in Lucknow, 34% occupancy in Ahmedabad, 33% occupancy in Bengaluru, etc.

The movie had an overall 10.98% Telugu occupancy on Wednesday, which included 7.79% in morning shows, 12.41% in afternoon shows, 10.47% in evening shows, and 13.23% in night shows.

The movie may see some favourable response from the audience in the upcoming weekend. But new movie releases may pose some challenges for the film.
