Nifty Weekly Chart Analysis By Axis Securities
The weekly trend remains firmly bullish, characterised by a steady formation of higher highs and higher lows. With the recent close, the benchmark index has decisively breached the key resistance zone of 25,200–25,300, reaffirming strong bullish sentiment. The RSI sustaining above 50 further underscores the underlying strength and supports the positive momentum. In this backdrop, a selective, stock- and sector-specific strategy is essential for capitalising on market opportunities.
A sustained move above 25,300 could open the door for further gains toward the 25,800–26,100 zone. Conversely, a breach below the crucial support at 24,800 may trigger profit booking, potentially dragging the index down to the 24,500–24,300 range.

Sector Update: CPI Inflation | Deflationary pressures in food, aided headline inflation
“The food-led moderation in inflation trajectory continued in June as well. Headline inflation (2.1%) moderated to the lowest level since Feb-19, and was lower than market expectation (2.25%). Deflationary pressures (-1.06%) in the food category aided the headline inflation. Vegetable prices picked up pace (7.2% MoM), which according to us would be temporary at least till the festive season starts in August. Core inflation continues to remain elevated on the back of gold prices, upside risks persists unless global trade related uncertainty normalises. An optically elevated telecom inflation, would push the anticipated tariff hike further by one quarter. Inflation averaged 20bps lower than RBI’s expectation in Q1FY26, this should open up more room for policy easing. However we believe that the RBI would assess the impact of tariffs (US) on the domestic economic growth, before delivering rate cuts. Hence we expect status quo in August,” commented Hitesh Suvarna of JM Financial Institutional Securities.
