Closing Bell: Sensex Closes 183 Pts Lower; Nifty Flat At 25,466.15; Hindalco, Tata Steel, Apollo Top Laggards

Nifty 50 and Sensex ended flat on Wednesday. Nifty 50 fell by 46 points to 25,476 points. Whereas, BSE Sensex ended 176.43 points lower at 83,536.08 per share. At Noon, Sensex was trading slightly lower at 83,689.14, down 23.37 points or 0.03%, while the Nifty held steady at 25,521.20, slipping just 1.30 points or 0.005%. The benchmarks indices are trading largely flat today amid mixed global sentiment.

The Indian stock market is expected to open on a flat to slightly positive note today, with GIFT Nifty trading at 25,537, up by 10 points. This indicates a neutral to mildly optimistic start for domestic equities.
