Result Update: Havells India Ltd - B2C demand set to improve; upgrade to ADD
“We believe worst in terms of B2C demand is behind and expect better demand trends in the upcoming festive season supported by growth in real estate sales. B2B infrastructure led demand should continue its strong growth momentum with Cables & wires registering double digit growth on back of capacity expansion. We have trimmed our revenue expectation especially for B2C summer products on poor Q1 and high channel inventory resulting revenue de-growth for Lloyds in FY26 on extremely strong growth of FY25. We continue to value the company at 50x as we see structural gradual margin improvement from current levels as company has been working on improving its cost structure. We are factoring FY25-27E Revenue/EBITDA/PAT CAGR of 12%/21%/20%. Our EPS estimates for FY26 and FY27 have been revised downwards by 5% each on lower revenue from B2C summer products. We however upgrade the stock to ADD with revised PT Of Rs1,716 as stock has underperformed and expect it to start outperforming once revenue growth and margin starts to improve,” Yes Securities said in a report.

Market Outlook Today By Dr. VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Investments Limited.
There is an undercurrent of resilience in the market despite the elevated valuations. This is evident in the market’s response to positive news like yesterday’s positive response to the good Q1 numbers from ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Eternal. There are two factors that are providing this resilience to the market. One, the mother market US is bullish with the S&P having set new records ten times this year. This bullishness is providing psychological support to the bulls. Two, the liquidity support to the market continues unabated. DIIs, flush with funds, have been buyers in 14 out of the 15 trading days this month. This has more than neutralised the FII selling in 10 out of the 15 trading days of the month. This trend in the institutional activity is significant.
An area of concern in the near-term is the uncertainty regarding an interim trade deal between US and India. If India doesn’t get a favourable deal with tariffs below 20 percent that would be a short-term negative from the market perspective.

Result Update: Eternal | Blinkit: Absolute losses peak; caution gives way to confidence
“Eternal once again surprised us positively on Blinkit. This time though, the surprise was more on management commentary than the reported numbers, as it was quite a contrast to the cautious tone post 4QFY25 results. Remarks that stood-out were: 1) Adj. EBITDA losses in Blinkit have peaked out, not only in margin terms but also on an absolute basis; 2) a move to inventory-led model (over the next 2-3 qtrs) can expand margins by ~100bps (as % of NOV), while needing limited working capital investments (18 days or 5% of NOV); and 3) visibility to double dark store count from 1,544 currently to 3,000. In terms of reported numbers, Blinkit’s GOV growth of c.140% YoY was ahead of JMFe of c.129% while Adj. EBITDA loss narrowed from INR 1.78bn in 4QFY25 to INR 1.62bn, albeit it was tad higher than JMFe of INR 1.54bn. There were however, a few misses as well - 1) food delivery Adj. EBITDA margin contracted for the first time (on a sequential basis) after 14 qtrs and 2) there was an unexpected rise in investments in ‘Bistro’ (operated by Blinkit). Having mentioned that, we believe the positives in Blinkit are likely to outweigh the misses in other businesses. We, reiterate Eternal as our preferred pick with an unchanged Jun’26 TP of INR 320 (PER of 75x),” commented Swapnil Potdukhe of JM Financial Institutional Securities.

ICICI Bank: No holes to pick in thesis thus far, Maintain BUY
“(1) Net Interest Margin – NIM declined on sequential basis but the like for like compression was reasonably orderly in nature (2) Asset Quality – Slippages rose somewhat on sequential basis but due to seasonal agri slippages (3) Balance sheet growth – Balance sheet growth was relatively sluggish and was driven by business banking (4) We maintain ‘Buy’ rating on ICICI with a revised price target of Rs 1750,” the brokerage firm YES SECURITIES said in a report.

Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZ IN): Zinc prices to show recovery; Silver rally remains strong; maintain BUY!
“Marginal beat on estimates. LME Zinc price correction and lower volumes impact performance sequentially. We continue to maintain our positive stance on HZL on the back of strong operational performance expected from both the silver and refined metal segments. We project Revenue and EBITDA to grow at 7% and 11.1% respectively over the FY25-27E period. We continue to value HZL at 11x FY27E EV/EBITDA to arrive at our target price of Rs 551/share,” YES SECURITIES said in a report.

Fundamentals strong as ever, but upside limited_ Q1FY26_JK Cement Ltd_Result Update
“JK Cement (JKCE ) has been our top pick over the last 1 year. After a 40% rally YTD, we believe it is time to downgrade JKCE to ADD from BUY earlier. Most of the positives that we have built into our numbers like 1) On track capacity expansion plan with a potential to reach 32 Mnt by FY26 end, 2) Improving cement sector tailwinds like better demand and higher pricing, 3) Commitment to cost efficiency through green power (targeting 60% green power share by FY26E end and 75% share by FY20E end), 4) Disciplined leverage strategy, with net debt to EBITDA well below 2x are finally getting priced in, with stock now trading at FY28E EV/EBITDA multiple of ~19x, which is high enough. As we marginally fine-tune our numbers and roll forward by a quarter, we arrive at an EV/CE valuation framework based TP of INR 7,200 per share, implying an upside of 12.3% and thereby our rating gets downgraded to ADD from BUY earlier,” Choice Broking said in a note.

Bank Nifty Prediction Today
“Technically, Bank Nifty reclaimed the 21-DEMA level placed near 56,755 and formed a bullish candle on the daily chart, indicating strength. The next major hurdle for Bank Nifty is placed at 57,280, while immediate support is seen at 56,755 followed by 55,460, where the 34-DEMA is placed. For a fresh bullish trigger, Bank Nifty must cross the 57,280 mark; until then, traders are advised to buy near support and sell near resistance,” said Hrishikesh Yedve, AVP Technical and Derivative Research, Asit C. Mehta Investment Interrmediates Ltd.

Nifty Prediction Today
“Technically, on the daily chart, Nifty managed to hold above its 50-Day Exponential Moving Average (50-DEMA) and formed a hammer-like candle, signalling potential strength. If the index holds the hammer candle low of 24,882, a pullback rally could extend toward the 25,200–25,250 zone. However, a decisive break below this level could drag the index down to the 24,750–24,500 range,” said Hrishikesh Yedve, AVP Technical and Derivative Research, Asit C. Mehta Investment Interrmediates Ltd.

Nifty Outlook Today By Rajesh Bhosale, Equity Technical Analyst, Angel One
On Friday, the index had ended near the breakdown point of the Rising Channel, which also aligned with the 50DEMA. The week’s opening saw prices dip marginally below this critical zone, but fortunately, there was no decisive breakdown on a closing basis, preserving the structural integrity of the chart. This zone also aligns with the 61.8% retracement of the recent upmove from mid-June often referred to as the golden ratio and, when combined with the 50DEMA, has historically acted as a strong reversal zone. Going forward, 24900 will remain a sacrosanct support level, a make-or-break zone for the bulls. As long as this level holds, the broader outlook remains constructive, and traders can continue with a positive bias. On the upside, the 25200–25250 zone, which coincides with the 20DEMA and last week’s swing high will be a key resistance. A breakout above this range would confirm a resumption of the uptrend and a breakout from the recent consolidation. Traders are advised to closely monitor these levels and align their strategies accordingly, with stock-specific opportunities likely to continue offering better risk-reward setups.
