Stock Market Recap
"Indian equities closed higher on Wednesday as the benchmark Nifty staged a steady recovery after a weak opening influenced by cautious global cues. The index initially slipped into negative territory but found strong buying interest near the 25,850 support zone. From there, bulls took charge, propelling Nifty to reclaim and test the Technical & psychologically crucial 26,000 mark. Sectoral momentum was dominated by IT stocks, which led the day’s advance with a broad-based rally. Weights such as LTIM, Infosys, HCLTech, TCS, and Persistent Systems were in focus, driving strong gains for the sector. PSU banks and the Healthcare index also contributed meaningfully to the market’s upward move, adding breadth to the recovery. As Nifty hovers around the 26,000 level, market participants remain attentive to upcoming global triggers. Key US economic data and clarity on the India–US trade deal are expected to steer sentiment in the coming sessions," noted Ashika Institutional Equities.

Stock Market Live: Nvidia Reports Strong Quarter, Calms Worries About AI Bubble
Stock Market Live: "Nvidia reported strong Q3 earnings, posting a double beat with revenue of approximately billion and it’s EPS at .30. Perhaps most notably was its upward revision of its future guidance to revenue of billion for the next quarter, suggesting the company sees continued strong demand ahead.
Given the recent concerns in the market around valuations in the tech / AI space and questions about whether the AI bubble might be overstretched, these earnings come as a timely relief to the markets. Nvidia is a bellwether for the broader AI ecosystem, and its strength suggests that demand for AI remains solid, which in turn supports related stocks and sectors. The strong forward guidance, importantly, helps reduce the uncertainty in the sector, as investors will feel more comfortable with exposure to the sector, knowing that Nvidia sees sustained growth.
The caveats to the positive report will be that if future quarters don’t continue to accelerate, sentiment can reverse quickly. Also, while Nvidia’s success is encouraging, it doesn’t guarantee that all companies in the AI space will be able to replicate, especially those companies with weaker competitive position," noted Ross Maxwell, Global Strategy Lead at VT Markets.

Stock Market Live: Gift Nifty Indicates A Positive Start of Nifty and Sensex
Stock Market Live: Nifty and Sensex are expected to continue their winning streak on Thursday, as indicated by Gift Nifty. IT stocks will remain in focus
"Nifty50 ended on a positive note, rising 143 points to close at 26,053(+0.6%), supported by optimism around the ongoing discussions on the India-US trade deal. Expectations that the negotiations may move in a favourable direction provided a lift to export-oriented sectors and helped maintain a steady undertone through the day. Despite the headline strength, the broader market performance remained largely neutral. Nifty Midcap100 managed a modest gain of 0.2%, while the Smallcap100 slipped 0.4%, reflecting a mixed trend. Sectorally, majority indices closed in the green, with IT and PSU Bank stocks leading the up-move. Strong interest in IT stocks drove Nifty IT index up by 3%, amid hopes of the India-US trade deal. PSU banks also witnessed renewed buying, after global rating agency Moody's updated its global bank rating framework and affirmed a one notch upgrade for multiple Indian PSBs," explained Siddhartha Khemka - Head of Research, Wealth Management, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.
