Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Welcomes Bentley to Its Luxury Vehicle Portfolio

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd has announced the inclusion of Bentley, a British luxury car brand, under its umbrella in India. Starting from July 1, the company will exclusively handle the import, distribution, and servicing of Bentley vehicles across the country. A new entity, Bentley India, will manage all marketing, sales, and after-sales operations for the brand.

New Leadership and Strategy

Abbey Thomas has been appointed as the Brand Director for Bentley India. Thomas will be responsible for leading the brand's strategy and retail network in the Indian market. This move is part of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd's (SAVWIPL) broader strategy to enhance its luxury offerings in India.

Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of SAVWIPL, stated that adding Bentley completes their portfolio. He highlighted that it combines German engineering precision with British craftsmanship's elegance and performance. This strategic addition aims to cater to India's growing ultra-high-net-worth individual segment.

Focus on Luxury Market

Jan Bures, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing, and Digital at SAVWIPL, mentioned that this partnership will benefit India's ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The collaboration with new dealer partners aims to deliver top-tier luxury and performance to customers. This initiative aligns with SAVWIPL's commitment to providing world-class standards throughout the ownership journey.
