Samsung has officially unveiled its latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, marking a new milestone in smartphone design with a triple-fold display and high-end specifications aimed at power users and tech enthusiasts. The device boasts a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, promising a seamless performance for multitasking, gaming and professional workflows.

The Galaxy Z TriFold features a 200MP triple rear camera setup, including a main wide lens with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto camera capable of up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the handset comes equipped with two 10MP front cameras, one on the cover display and another on the main screen.

Galaxy Z TriFold Price, Availability and Offers
Samsung has not yet announced the official price of the Galaxy Z TriFold, which will come in 512GB and 1TB storage options and a single Crafted Black colour. The device is set to go on sale in South Korea on 12th December 2025 and will be available in select global markets, including China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the US, through select retail stores.
As part of its launch promotion, Samsung is offering a 6-month free trial of Google AI Pro, featuring advanced AI tools such as Veo 3 for AI-powered video generation and 2TB of cloud storage. Additionally, the company is providing a one-time 50% discount on display repairs, aimed at reassuring buyers of the durability of this unique triple-fold smartphone.
Galaxy Z TriFold Display and Design
Samsung has made the displays the focal point of the TriFold. The device sports a 10.0-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1600 nits, alongside a 6.5-inch FHD+ cover display with the same refresh rate but a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
Both displays support the DCI-P3 colour gamut, ensuring vibrant and natural visuals. The large foldable screen is designed for multitasking, watching videos, and working on documents efficiently.
In terms of build, the Galaxy Z TriFold measures 159.2 x 214.1 x 3.9-4.2 mm when unfolded and weighs 309 grams. It has an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance, with protection against freshwater immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The phone incorporates Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front, a ceramic-glass fiber back, and a titanium hinge with armor aluminium frame.
Galaxy Z TriFold Battery and Charging
The device is powered by a 5,600mAh three-cell battery system, offering 45W wired charging, which can charge the battery up to 50% in 30 minutes, and 15W wireless charging, along with Wireless PowerShare to charge other compatible devices.
Software and Connectivity
Running on OneUI 8 based on Android 16, the Galaxy Z TriFold comes with Samsung's Knox security suite and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C, while dual nano SIM and multi-eSIM support ensure flexible network management.
