Record Jump in Gold Price Today, Silver Rate Crosses Rs 4 Lakh/Kg in Delhi; Check Latest 22K,24K & 18K Prices

Gold prices in Delhi witnessed a significant surge on Thursday, 29 January 2026, recording one of the biggest single-day jumps in recent times. 24 Karat gold rose by Rs 1,177 per gram to Rs 17,900, while 22 Karat gold gained Rs 1,080 per gram to Rs 16,410.

The sharp rise comes in the wake of the US Federal Reserve's policy decision on 28 January, where the central bank maintained the status quo on interest rates. Despite this, markets continue to anticipate two potential rate cuts later this year, which has boosted safe-haven demand for gold.
