Banks in Odisha and Manipur will remain closed on Friday, June 27, in observance of the festival Rath Yatra. This major religious event is celebrated with great enthusiasm, especially in Puri, Odisha where lakhs of devotees take part in the grand procession of Lord Jagannath's chariot.

June 28, 2025 (Saturday) - Fourth Saturday

According to RBI guidelines, banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Therefore, on June 28, which falls on the fourth Saturday of the month, banks across the country will observe a holiday. No branch-based services will be available nationwide on this day.

June 29, 2025 (Sunday) - Weekly Holiday

Sunday, June 29 is a standard weekly holiday for all banks in India. As with every Sunday, both public and private sector banks will remain closed nationwide.

Remna Ni on June 30, 2025 (Monday)

On June 30, banks in Mizoram will remain closed in observance of Remna Ni, a state-specific public holiday. Remna Ni commemorates the signing of the Mizoram Peace Accord in 1986, which ended decades of insurgency in the region. It holds historical and cultural significance for the people of Mizoram and is observed as a public holiday.

Digital Banking Services Will Remain Unaffected

During these holidays, digital banking services such as net banking, mobile banking apps, UPI, digital wallets, and ATMs will continue to operate as usual. Customers can carry out online transactions without any interruption.

However, if you need to perform branch-based tasks like depositing a cheque, creating a demand draft, opening a new account, or any other in-person banking activity, it is advisable to complete them before the holiday period.
