Q1 Boost: Penny Stock Below Rs 5 Surges To Upper Circuit After Strong Earnings
On Friday, the shares of Spright Agro Ltd ended at a 5% upper circuit limit at Rs 2.33 per share with a market cap of Rs 249.66 Cr. Following the company's announcement of strong performance for the quarter ending June 30, 2025, the stock price saw a surge. Spright Agro's net profit climbed 46.40% to Rs 9.15 crore in the June 2025 quarter from Rs 6.25 crore in the June 2024 quarter. In the quarter ending in June 2025, sales increased 17.30% to Rs 62.03 crore, up from Rs 52.88 crore in Q1FY25.

Spright Agro Limited completed the execution and delivery of agricultural products totalling Rs 102 Crores earlier in July 2025. This order was completed for Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based Abhaynath Tradelink Private Limited. As a component of the company's trading and bulk procurement vertical, the deal involved the delivery of a variety of agricultural commodities.
On the same day, Spright Agro Limited successfully completed and fulfilled a Rs 97 crore order for the delivery of agricultural commodities to Saize Enterprise Private Limited in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This deal demonstrated Spright Agro's strong institutional involvement and logistic execution competencies and involved the delivery of several agricultural goods as part of the company's routine agri-commodity trade.
In addition to the above, Spright Agro Limited also successfully completed the supply and execution of an agro commodity order worth Rs 100 Crores for Laxam Commtrade Private Limited, which has its registered office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on July 1, 2025. The management believes that these developments will support long-term value creation for shareholders and further strengthen the company's financial performance for the current fiscal year.
Over the past year, Spright Agro's stock has seen a spectacular rollercoaster ride, plunging from a 52-week high of Rs 44.66 on August 9, 2024, to a shocking 52-week low of Rs 2.07 in the recent past on Thursday, July 24, 2025. But in a stunning turn of events, the shares closed at Rs 2.33 on Friday, July 25, 2025, locking in at the upper circuit. It seems that the company's impressive first-quarter performance in the 2025-2026 fiscal year served as the impetus for the sudden and substantial rebound. The coming sessions will be important in assessing if this rising trend can be sustained or a response to the impressive quarterly results.
