PM Kisan 20th Installment Released: Didn't Receive Rs. 2000 In Your Accounts? Check Your PM-KISAN Balance Now

Good news for millions of farmers across India! The long-awaited 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) has been released. Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally initiated the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of Rs. 20,500 crore into the bank accounts of over 9.7 crore eligible farmers during a ceremony held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on August 2nd.

Under this installment, every registered and verified beneficiary has received Rs. 2000, which will provide the much-needed support for small and marginal farmers during the sowing season.

PM-KISAN 20th Installment Status: When Will the Money Arrive?

The PM-KISAN 20th installment amount has already been disbursed by PM via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Beneficiaries whose e-KYC, Aadhaar-bank linking, and land seeding are complete will receive the payment directly in their bank accounts.

SMS Alert on Payment

Farmers will receive an SMS alert on their registered mobile number as soon as the Rs. 2000 installment is credited. If you haven't received the message yet, don't worry; you can check your PM-KISAN status online.

How to Check PM-KISAN 20th Installment Status Online

Follow these steps to check whether the 20th PM-KISAN installment has been credited to your account

Step 1: Visit the official PM-KISAN website: pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the 'Farmers Corner' section.
Step 3: Click on 'Beneficiary Status.'
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number.
Step 5: Click on 'Get Data' to view your current status.

If all three fields-that is, e-KYC, land record validation, and Aadhaar-bank account linking-show "YES," the installment will likely be deposited soon. If any status shows "NO," farmers are advised to take action immediately to avoid missing the payment.

What If You Haven't Done e-KYC?

Farmers who haven't completed PM-KISAN e-KYC may not receive the installment. To complete it:

Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or

Get help through India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) or local agriculture department officials

About the PM-KISAN Scheme

Launched in February 2019, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year in three installments of Rs. 2000 each. This scheme supports small and marginal farmers by helping them purchase seeds, fertilisers, and other essentials during the crop cycle. As per govt data, ever since the beginning of the scheme, the Government of India has disbursed over Rs. 3.69 lakh crore through 19 installments.
