Farmers across India are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is expected to be released soon. As per media reports, the Rs. 2,000 payment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is likely to be disbursed on July 18.

While there is no official confirmation yet, it is widely speculated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may release the funds during a public meeting in Motihari, Bihar, ahead of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.

What Is PM KISAN Yojana?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a Central government income support scheme that provides Rs. 6,000 annually in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each to eligible farmer families.

This installment will benefit over 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore women beneficiaries. The PM-KISAN 19th installment was also released in Bihar in February this year when PM Modi transferred Rs. 2000 to farmers bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Who Will Get the PM-KISAN 20th Installment?

To receive the Rs. 2,000 PM-KISAN payment, farmers must ensure to link their bank account with Aadhaar. Additionally, farmers should make sure to activate Direct Benefit Transfer status in their account along with completing the e-KYC online.

How to Check Your Name in the PM-KISAN Beneficiary List?

Here's how you can verify if you're eligible for the 20th installment:

Step 1: Visit the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Then Click on the "Dashboard" tab on the right-hand side.
Step 3: Select your state, district, sub-district, and panchayat.
Step 4: Click "Show" to view your area-wise data.
Step 5: Click "Get Report" to check if your name appears in the PM-KISAN Beneficiary List.

How to Check PM-KISAN Status or Apply Online?

Below are the steps you can follow to check the status of your application.

Step 1: To check your PM-KISAN beneficiary status or apply online, visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: For a status check, click on the 'Know Your Status' option and enter your registration number or mobile number.

Step 3: To check if your name is on the PM KISAN beneficiary list, click on the 'Beneficiary List' tab, select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village, then click on 'Get Report.'

Step 4: If you are a new farmer, you can register by selecting 'New Farmer Registration' and filling in all required details.

Step 6: If you are a registered farmer under PM-KISAN, make sure your e-KYC is completed and all eligibility conditions are met to receive the Rs 2,000 June installment without delay.
