Oppo F31 Series to Launch in India on Sept 15: Expected Price Below Rs 20,000; Features, Color Variants & More
Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated F31 series in India. The new smartphones, Oppo F31 5G, F31 Pro 5G and F31 Pro+ 5G will be unveiled on 15 September at 12 PM IST. The company is promoting the lineup under the tagline "Durable Champion", highlighting its robust build quality, water and dust resistance and massive battery life, a perfect combination for users seeking longevity in their smartphones.
First Oppo F-Series with a Pro+ Model
The Oppo F31 series follows the F29 lineup, which debuted earlier in March. However, this time, Oppo is stepping up the game by introducing a new top-tier F31 Pro+ variant for the first time in its F-series history. This move marks Oppo's push to cater to consumers demanding more premium mid-range options.

Oppo F-Series Expected Prices and Variants
According to leaks and industry insiders, the pricing of the series is expected to be more aggressive than its predecessor:
Oppo F31 5G Price: Likely to be priced under Rs 20,000, making it even more affordable than the F29's starting price of Rs 23,999.
Oppo F31 Pro 5G Price: Expected in the Rs 25,000-Rs 30,000 range.
Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G Price: The premium model is expected to cost around Rs 35,000.
This pricing strategy positions Oppo to compete strongly in the mid-range segment ahead of the festive season.
Massive Battery, Rugged Design and Strong Cameras of Oppo F31
One of the biggest highlights of the F31 series is its 7,000mAh battery across all models - a standout feature in the segment. Oppo is clearly targeting users who demand all-day battery life, or even more, without frequent recharging.
Durability is another key selling point. The F31 series is expected to come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making the devices highly resistant to dust and water. Such ratings are usually reserved for premium smartphones or rugged devices, making their inclusion in a mid-range phone series a big deal.
In terms of optics, all three models will feature a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is expected on the Pro and Pro+ models, while the base F31 might carry a 16MP front shooter.
