According to the regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Nestle India's board meeting is scheduled for Thursday which is June 26, 2025. During this meeting, the directors will discuss and if deemed appropriate, approve the proposal to issue bonus shares-subject to all required statutory and regulatory approvals.

The company stated in the filing, "This is to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 26th June 2025, to inter alia consider and approve the proposal for issue of bonus shares, subject to requisite approvals."

This bonus move, if approved, will mark a historic milestone for Nestle India, as it would be the company's first-ever bonus issue since it got listed on Indian stock exchanges. Bonus shares are additional shares distributed to existing shareholders at no extra cost, usually in proportion to the shares already held. Companies often issue bonus shares to reward shareholders and improve liquidity in the stock.

Nestle India, known for iconic consumer brands like Maggi, Nescafe, KitKat, and Cerelac, has consistently been a high-performing and dividend-paying company. The potential bonus issue reflects the company's strong financial position and commitment to enhancing shareholder value.
The Maggi owning company reported a net profit of Rs 873.46 crore for the quarter, a decline from Rs 934.17 crore in the same period last year. This marks a year-on-year (YoY) decrease of Rs 60.71 crore, or approximately 6.5%.
Despite the fall in net profit, the company posted a steady increase in its top line. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 5,503.88 crore, up from Rs 5,267.59 crore a year ago, showing an increase of Rs 236.29 crore or 4.5% YoY.
Nestle India Q4 Results 2025
For the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4 FY25), Nestle India reported strong sales performance, with product sales increasing to Rs 5,447.64 crore compared to Rs 5,254.43 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a 3.7% growth. Total income also saw a 4.1% rise, reaching Rs 5,512.32 crore from Rs 5,294.34 crore.
However, the rise in earnings was offset by higher operational costs. Total expenses surged by 6.3% to Rs 4,307.76 crore, up from Rs 4,053.84 crore, indicating increased spending across various cost heads including raw materials, logistics and marketing.

NSE: NESTLEIND - At market closing on 25th June at 3:30 PM, shares of Nestle India Ltd ended the trading session on a positive note. The stock closed at Rs 2,405.00, marking a gain of Rs 39.20 or 1.66% for the day.
The stock opened the day at Rs 2,372.00, which was also the intraday low. During the session, it touched a high of Rs 2,428.90. Over the past 52 weeks, Nestle India's share price has ranged between a low of Rs 2,110.00 and a high of Rs 2,778.00.
