MSRTC Launches 'Aapli ST' App to Track Live Bus Location, Schedules, Find Nearest ST Bus Stops & Book Tickets
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has launched a new mobile application named 'Aapli ST', designed to make travel easier and more convenient for passengers. The app provides real-time location updates of buses, helping commuters avoid long waits at bus stops.
MSRTC Launched 'Aapli ST' App To Track Real-Time Bus Updates
Passengers can now see live updates of their buses through the app's Passenger Information System (PIS). This feature shows the scheduled departure time (STD) and estimated arrival time (ETA) of each bus, allowing commuters to time their arrival at the bus stop more accurately.

Track MRSTC Buses, Check Schedules & Find Nearest ST Bus Stop with New 'Aapli ST' App
The app also helps users find the nearest bus stop, check schedules between two locations, and track buses by entering the bus number or ticket number. This is especially useful for passengers who book tickets in advance.
An MSRTC official said this system would help reduce unnecessary waiting times, as passengers can arrive at the stop just before the bus comes.
How and Where To Download 'Aapli ST' in Your Phones?
The 'Aapli ST' app is available for both Android and iPhone users. It can currently be downloaded from the Play Store under the name "MSRTC Commuter App" and will soon appear as "Aapli ST" on app stores.
In addition to tracking and schedule features, the app includes a list of emergency contact numbers. These numbers can be dialed with a single click, providing an added layer of safety for passengers during their journey.
MSRTC to Add Live Bus Tracking to Ticket Booking System for Seamless Travel
MSRTC is also working on integrating live tracking with its ticket booking system, so passengers who reserve seats can track their buses easily. This update will allow for more transparent and reliable service.
State Transport Minister and MSRTC Chairman Pratap Sarnaik officially launched the app on the occasion of Dussehra. Developed with support from Rozmalta Autotech Ltd., the app currently tracks over 12,000 buses and covers more than 1 lakh routes across Maharashtra. MSRTC plans to expand the app's coverage to include all its buses in the near future.
Minister Sarnaik urged passengers to share their feedback and report any technical issues within the app. He said improvements would be made based on user suggestions to make the app more effective.
