Massive Drop in Gold Rate Today, Silver Falls Rs 50,000/kg in a Day in Delhi; Latest 22K, 24K & 18K Prices
Gold prices in Delhi extended their sharp correction on February 2, 2026, with bullion rates slipping for the third straight session. The price of 24 Karat gold fell to Rs 15,168 per gram, down by Rs 905, while 22 Karat gold declined to Rs 13,905 per gram, lower by Rs 830 from the previous day. The weakness followed a brief period of stability on February 1, as selling pressure returned to the market.
Over the last three sessions, 24 Karat gold in Delhi has corrected by a cumulative Rs 2,732 per 100 grams, highlighting aggressive profit booking after prices touched record highs recently.

Gold and silver futures also continued to slide for a third consecutive session on February 2, as investors locked in gains following the sharp rally that had pushed both precious metals to all-time highs last month.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
The rate of 24 Karat gold dropped to Rs 15,168 per gram from Rs 16,073 a day earlier, marking a fall of Rs 905. In higher quantities, 8 grams of 24 Karat gold were priced at Rs 1,21,344, while 10 grams cost Rs 1,51,680. For bulk buyers, 100 grams of 24 Karat gold slipped sharply to Rs 15,16,800, down by Rs 90,500 from yesterday.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
Prices of 22 Karat gold in Delhi also moved lower in tandem. The rate stood at Rs 13,905 per gram, compared with Rs 14,735 in the previous session, registering a decline of Rs 830. For 8 grams, the price eased to Rs 1,11,240, while 10 grams were quoted at Rs 1,39,050. The price of 100 grams of 22 Karat gold fell steeply to Rs 13,90,500, reflecting a drop of Rs 83,000 in a single session.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
18 Karat gold was not spared from the broader correction either. The rate slipped to Rs 11,380 per gram from Rs 12,059, down by Rs 679. In larger quantities, 8 grams of 18 Karat gold were priced at Rs 91,040, 10 grams at Rs 1,13,800, and 100 grams at Rs 11,38,000.

Silver prices in Delhi witnessed a sharp and steep fall on February 2, 2026, marking one of the biggest single-day corrections in recent weeks. The price of silver plunged to Rs 300 per gram, down sharply by Rs 50 from the previous session, reflecting intense profit booking and weak global cues in the bullion market.
The heavy selling pressure was even more evident in higher quantities. Eight grams of silver slipped to Rs 2,400, down by Rs 400, while 10 grams fell to Rs 3,000, a decline of Rs 500 in a single day. For bulk buyers, 100 grams of silver dropped sharply to Rs 30,000, registering a steep fall of Rs 5,000 compared with yesterday.
On a per kilogram basis, silver recorded a massive crash, tumbling to Rs 3,00,000 from Rs 3,50,000, a sharp decline of Rs 50,000 in one session.
