With the Ganesh Chaturthi festival right around the corner, one cannot miss out on the star Ganpati of Mumbai, aka Lalbaugcha Raja. Every year, millions of devotees, including celebrities and ministers, from across the country, travel to visit the pandal of Lalbaugcha Raja in Lalbaug, Mumbai. On August 24, ahead of the auspicious festival, the first look of the popular Ganesha idol has been revealed. And to make it hassle-free for devotees, the pandal has also announced costs and procedures to book VIP tickets.

"As every year, Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal will celebrate the Ganeshotsav of Lalbaugcha Raja from Wednesday, 27th August 2025 to Saturday, 6th September 2025," said the official committee of Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal.

Lalbaugcha Raja VIP Darshan Tickets 2025:

According to the Lalbaughcha Raja Darshan website, devotees can book VIP tickets online and offline modes. These passes are divided into four categories:

1. Platinum Pass: This pass is available only online. It offers benefits like fast-track entry, Charan Sparsh, guided tour, and premium facilities.

2. Gold Pass: This pass enables priority access with a dedicated queue for quicker darshan.

3. Silver Pass: The benefit of the silver pass is that it allows faster darshan than the general queue with a separate VIP line.

4. General Pass: This is a free entry pass; however, the queue will be long, and the crowds are generally larger for this line.

Lalbaugcha Raja VIP Darshan Ticket Prices 2025:

There are three types of tickets for darshan. These are:

1. General Darshan: This ticket costs Rs 50 per person and the entry is via Siddhi Gate.

2. VIP Darshan: This ticket is worth Rs 200 per devotee.

3. Special Darshan: This is the highest ticket and it costs Rs 500 per devotee.

Currently, VIP tickets are not available for online booking, so devotees must visit the temple directly for offline VIP ticket purchase. However, online booking may be introduced soon for added convenience," said the main website as of now.

As per the mandal, currently, the official website of Lalbaugcha Raja Temple does not offer online VIP Darshan ticket booking, but this facility may be available in the future. When online booking opens, here's how you can secure your ticket:

Step 1: Visit the official Lalbaugcha Raja website- https://lalbaugcharaja.com/.

Step 2: Log in using your credentials or create a new account with your mobile number and password.

Step 3: Click on the Online Booking Services and select the Darshan Booking option.

Step 4: Choose the Darshan type and preferred slot timing.

Step 5: Fill in devotee details like name, age, gender, address, mobile number, and email.

Step 6: Select a valid ID proof and enter its number.

Step 7: Proceed to the payment page and complete the transaction via available online payment options.

Lalbaugcha Raja 2024 Net Worth:

The belief that this idol of Ganesha is, Navasacha Ganpati (which means the "one who fulfils all wishes") draws over 1.5 million pilgrims to the idol's display area daily during the 10-day Ganesha Chaturthi festival, as per Wikipedia.

Last year, as per reports, devotees outpour their love for Lalbaugcha Raja in multi-fold. In 2024, Treasurer Mangesh Dalvi revealed that they received total cash of Rs 5.65 crore from devotees during September 7 to September 20 period. In the annual auction, the mandal witnessed a sum of Rs 2.35 crore. This takes the total earnings to Rs 8 crore reportedly.
