How to Claim Prizes for Kerala Lotteries?
As per the Kerala Lotteries Department guidelines, winners will be required to submit their winning ticket within 30 days.
If prizes are less than Rs 5,000: Winners can claim their prize money through any lottery shop based in Kerala.
If prizes are above Rs 5,000: Winners can surrender their winning lottery tickets before the designated bank or government lottery office with ID proofs for the claim.
As per Kerala Lotteries FAQs, a claim application along with a photocopy of both sides of the ticket, self-attested.
- Two Passport size photos of the prize-winner duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/Notary.
- Receipt for the prize money in the prescribed form affixing a revenue stamp worth ₹1/- with the full address of the prize-winner. This can be downloaded from the official website.
- If the prize winner is a minor, a Guardianship certificate from a competent authority is required.
- In case of joint claims, one of the prize-winners should be authorized to receive the prize money and a 'Joint Declaration in stamp paper worth ₹50/- will be required.
- Self-attested photocopy of the PAN Card.
- Attested documents to prove the identity of the winner. (copy of Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, Election ID Card, etc.).
