The Karnataka 2026 Bank Holidays will be announced separately under the same notification, applicable to all scheduled, cooperative, and regional rural banks operating in the state. The Department of Finance will publish the detailed bank holiday calendar for 2026 soon.
District-Level and Local Holidays
The Deputy Commissioners of each district have been authorised to declare additional local holidays for festivals, fairs, or events of regional importance. These local holidays in Karnataka will vary by district and will not apply to the entire state. Which means that depending on local customs, some districts like Mysuru, Udupi, Hubballi, and Belagavi may have separate holidays for local festivals and jatras (religious fairs).
