Rishab Shetty's Film Kantara: Chapter 1 Surpasses Salman Khan's Tiger 3 and Vijay's The GOAT in Lifetime Earnings

According to data from Sacnilk, the film has outperformed several recent blockbusters, including Salman Khan's Tiger 3 and Vijay's The GOAT, in terms of lifetime earnings.

The film has now overtaken the lifetime global box office collection of Tiger 3 (Rs 464 crore) and The GOAT (Rs 457 crore), making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.

The film was released on October 2, strategically aligned with Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra, which helped deliver a massive Rs 61.85 crore opening across languages. Within just four days, it crossed Rs 220 crore, according to Sacnilk, becoming one of the fastest films to hit that mark in 2025.

With the Diwali holiday period now underway, Kantara Chapter 1 is expected to see another surge in collections. If this momentum holds, the film may overtake Chhaava to become the top-grossing Indian film of the year.
