The weekend trend points to growing audience interest in Kalamkaval. On Sunday, theatres reported increasing occupancy throughout the day, with stronger attendance during the afternoon and evening shows. Sunday's morning occupancy stood at 37.40%, which rose to 59.74% in the afternoon.
As per Sacnilk, Evening screenings reported a high 68.41% occupancy, while night shows maintained a strong 58.85%, demonstrating the film's appeal during weekend leisure hours.
In addition to the three-day total of Rs 16.35 crore India net, trade estimates suggest the film has earned approximately Rs 10.5 crore India net, Rs 12.3 crore India gross, Rs 18.7 crore overseas and a total worldwide collection of Rs 31 crore.

The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India within its opening weekend and is estimated to have reached approximately Rs 144 crore worldwide.
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar was initially projected to finish its first weekend at Rs 99.50 crore India net, but updated figures reveal that it surpassed expectations and closed the weekend at around Rs 103 crore. The film opened modestly at Rs 28 crore net on Friday but benefitted from positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth, which lifted collections to about Rs 32 crore on Saturday.
Sunday then emerged as the strongest day, with Sacnilk reporting a revised figure of Rs 43 crore, replacing an earlier estimate of Rs 39.5 crore.

Since the pandemic, Mammootty has delivered several major openings, with Turbo leading at Rs 6.25 crore, followed by Agent at Rs 5.95 crore, Bheeshma Parvam at Rs 5.8 crore and CBI 5: The Brain at Rs 3.75 crore.
