To minimise discomfort, BESCOM urged residents to stay updated via their official website and social media pages. They also issued simple tips for managing planned outages:
- Charge your phones, laptops, and power backups in advance.
- Keep emergency lights or UPS systems ready.
- Finish any critical home chores or office work early in the day.
- Report prolonged or unscheduled cuts through the BESCOM helpline or mobile app.
- BESCOM also reassured citizens that electricity will be restored promptly once the daily maintenance tasks are completed.
