JSW Energy Q1 Result: Profit Jumps 42% To Rs 743.12 Cr, Boosted By Capacity Additions, Renewable Energy Push
JSW Energy Q1 Result: JSW Energy, on Thursday, reported a 42% annual increase in its net consolidated profit (attributable to owners of the company) to Rs 743.12 crore in the June quarter of financial year 2025-26. The JSW Energy's Q1FY26 profitability was boosted by capacity additions and focus on renewable energy generation.
The company scrip closed 2.2% lower at Rs 514.95 per share on BSE on Thursday with a market capitalisation of Rs 90,001.34 crore. JSW Energy shares touched an intraday high mark of Rs 524 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 512 per share.

JSW Energy Q1 Result: Net Profit, Revenue, EBITDA
JSW Energy's net consolidated profit stood at Rs 743.12 crore in the June quarter of financial year 2025.26. JSW Energy's consolidated revenue stood at Rs 5,143.37 crore during the quarter under review. Its debt to equity ratio stood at 2.36. Net profit margin stood at 15.45% during the quarter under review.
Revenue for the thermal, renewable, and unallocated segment stood at Rs 3,621.78 crore, Rs 1,491 crore, and Rs 29.77 crore respectively. Total revenue increased by 78% year-on-year to Rs 5,411 crore from Rs 3,043 crore. Its EBITDA growth stood at 93% annually from Rs 1581 crore to Rs 3057 crore.

JSW Energy Q1 Result: Net Worth, Net Debt
The company's net worth stood at Rs 27,738 rore and net debt stood at Rs 59,313 crore respectively. With this, its net debt to equity ratio stood at 2.1x. The company's liquidity continued to be strong with cash balances at Rs 6,113 Crores as of Jun 30, 2025.
JSW Energy: Strategic Acquisition Performance Update
JSE Energy's Mahanadi plant with a 1,800 MW operational capacity generated around 2.7 BUs during Q1 FY26, which resulted in an EBITDA growth of Rs 867 crore. Company's Utkal Unit-2 {350 MW), commissioned in Mar-25, ramped up in the quarter, generated 370 MUs.
The company completed acquisition with a capacity of 1,343 MW as of March 31, 2025. Its installed capacity at end of June stands at 1,797 GW resulting in net generation of 768 MUs and EBITDA of Rs 219 crore for the first quarter of FY26. The company, through its subsidiary JSW Neo managed to raise a fully hedged USO 675 million External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) with a five-year tenure.

JSW Energy shares closed lower at Rs 514.95 per share on BSE on July 31. The company's scrip value declined around 1.37% in a week and by 20.01% since the beginning of the year 2025. The stock touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 804.95 per share on BSE on 24 September, 2024. The company scrip hit its 52-week low mark of Rs 419 per share on BSE on 17 February, 2025.
