-A social media post by an X account titled 'Ministry of Foreign Affairs Baluchistan' shared an update about Imran Khan's death.

"Reports are now surfacing from inside the prisons of Punjab, Pakistan, that Imran Khan, who was being held in custody, has been killed by Asim Munir and his ISI administration, according to several news outlets," read a post by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Baluchistan.

-Additionally, several other media outlets also claimed that Imran Khan was killed in the jail. This claim quickly gained traction on social media, leading to a flurry of posts on X discussing the alleged incident.

-This is not the first time when social media is filled with rumours about Imran Khan's death.

-Meanwhile, his family members have expressed concerns that they have not been allowed to meet the ex-PM for more than two weeks. As per several other media reports, his sisters, siting in protest outside the Adiala jail, were also manhandled as they were demanding to meet their brothers.

-Khan's three sisters, Noreen, Aleema, and Uzma have accused that Imran Khan was "brutally assaulted" inside the Adiala jail. Khan's family members have often complained of mistreatment and harassment by jail authorities.

-The 72-year-old politician and former cricketer, is serving jail sentencesince 2023 after being convicted in multiple corruption cases.
