Infosys Q1 results: Attrition Rate Declines To 17.3%, Employee Headcount Falls
Infosys, one of India's leading IT services companies, recently released its quarterly financial results reporting strong revenue growth. The overall net profit for the June quarter increased by almost 11% year over year (YoY) to Rs 5,945 crore.
The quarter saw a further decline in attrition rates at Infosys. As compared to the previous quarter, the 12-month trailing attrition rate decreased to 17.3% from 20.9%.

In the June quarter of the previous year, the attrition rate was 28.4%.
At the end of June, there were 3,36,294 employees overall, which is 6,940 fewer than a quarter earlier.
