Infosys Announces 75% Average Q2 Bonus For Eligible Employees Across Job Levels; When Bonus Will Be Credited?
Infosys, one of India's largest IT services companies and a global leader in digital consulting and outsourcing, has announced an average performance bonus payout of 75 percent for eligible employees for the second quarter of the ongoing financial year. The payout follows the company's stable Q2 performance but is slightly lower than the bonuses awarded in the April-June quarter.

According to a report by the Economic Times, Infosys informed its workforce that the bonus amount will be paid along with the November salary. Delivery managers were directed to convey the update to their respective teams.

Infosys Employees' Bonus Across Job Levels
The Q2 bonus covers Infosys employees in job levels 4, 5 and 6, which include software engineers, team leaders, project managers, and senior managers. These levels make up a significant portion of Infosys' 3.23-lakh workforce, ensuring that a large number of employees benefit from the payout. Employees across the 'outstanding', 'commendable', 'met expectations' and even non-applicable categories qualified for bonuses.
As per ET report, employees at Job Level 4 which includes software engineers and team leaders - reported that outstanding performers received about 83% of their bonus, commendable performers earned 78.5%, and those who met expectations were awarded 75%. Meanwhile, junior-level staff saw payouts ranging from 70.5% to 83%, indicating slight variations depending on role and performance.
Infosys Employee Says Q2 Bonus Drops 5-7% from Previous Quarter
An Infosys employee, requesting anonymity, told GoodReturns that this quarter's bonus is 5-7 percent lower than the previous one.
In comparison, the April-June (Q1) bonus distribution was stronger, averaging 80 percent, with payouts ranging between 75 percent and 89 percent. This indicates a modest dip in Q2 variable pay, although the company has maintained broad eligibility across performance categories.
