Hindustan Unilever Cuts Prices on Dove, Horlicks, Lifebuoy, Lux, Clinic Plus, Kissan Jam, BRU Coffee & More

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), one of India's largest FMCG companies has announced price reductions on a wide range of its popular consumer goods, including Dove shampoo, Lifebuoy, Lux soaps, Clinic Plus, Sunsilk shampoos, Horlicks, Boost, Kissan Jam, Kissan Ketchup, Bru Coffee, Knorr Soup, Hellmann's Mayonnaise, Closeup toothpaste, Lakme compact powder and many more products.

The revised prices of HUL products, effective from September 22, 2025, cover categories including personal care, food and beverages and cosmetics. This decision follows the latest GST Council meeting, which introduced a revised three-slab structure of 5%, 18%, and 40% for various products and services. The council, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, has been pushing for a simpler tax regime that directly benefits end-users.

Hindustan Unilever Personal Care Products like Dove, Clinic Plus, Sunsilk, Lux, Lifebuoy See Significant Cuts. Among the notable changes in personal care:

Dove Shampoo (340 ml) will now retail at Rs 435, down from Rs 490.

Clinic Plus Strong and Long Shampoo (355 ml) is now priced at Rs 340, reduced from Rs 393.

Sunsilk Black Shine Shampoo (350 ml) has dropped to ₹370 from its earlier price of Rs 430.

Dove Serum Bar (75g) now costs Rs 40, down from Rs 45.

Lux Radiant Glow Soap (75g x 4) is available for Rs 85, reduced from Rs 96.

Lifebuoy Soap (75g x 4) is now priced at Rs 60, compared to Rs 68 earlier.

Food & Beverages Products Like Horlicks, Boost, Kissan Jam, Ketchup, Knorr Soup, BRU Coffee Get Affordable

HUL has also reduced prices on several household food and beverage items:

Horlicks (200g) is now available for Rs 110, down from Rs 130.

Horlicks Women's Plus (400g) has been reduced to Rs 284 from Rs 320.

Boost (200g) now costs Rs 110, compared to its previous price of Rs 124.

Kissan Jam (200g) is priced at Rs 80, down from Rs 90.

Kissan Ketchup (850g) is now Rs 93, reduced from Rs 100.

Knorr Tomato Soup (67g) will now retail at Rs 55, down from Rs 65.

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise (250g) sees a price drop to Rs 90 from Rs 99.

BRU Coffee (75g) is now available for Rs 270, compared to the earlier Rs 300.

Oral Care and Cosmetics Also Get Major Price Cuts

The price cuts extend to oral care and beauty products:

Closeup Toothpaste (150g) now costs Rs 129, reduced from Rs 145.

Lakme Compact Powder (9g) has been brought down to Rs 599, from its earlier price of Rs 675.
