Eid-e-Milad-Un Nabi 2025: The procession to celebrate Eid-e-Milad is going to be held on September 5, 2025, across the country. Eid-e-Milad-Un Nabi, which is popularly known as Mawlid, is one of the most significant and important festivals for Muslims all over the world since it's the birth anniversary of their Prophet Muhammad. Following this, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the Mawlid procession.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory:
Through the X handler, Bengaluru Traffic Police's notice said, "Procession routes will be closed for vehicular traffic. Alternative routes have been provided-commuters are requested to follow diversions and plan travel accordingly."
SJP Road - Old Udaya TV Junction
The procession is going to take place from 2 PM to 12 Midnight from SJP Road to Old Udaya TV Junction.

Here, the procession will take place from 12 PM to 8 PM.
Furthermore, there will be movement restrictions on various roads such as

The traffic police said that the Muslim community will celebrate the 'Eid-Milad' festival and thousands of people will come to the YMCA ground on Nrupatunga Road in decorated vehicles and processions. At that time, Mysore Road, Market Circle, SJP Road and JC Road will be busy.
Hence, routes have been changed.
Alternative Routes Are:
1. Vehicles moving from Market Circles, KR Road and Minarva Circle towards Majestic will be routed via TSP Road, Chamarajpet 5th Cross, and Good Shed Road.
2. Vehicles coming from BGS flyover to Majestic via Town Hall should reach Majestic via Binny Milly Road or Good Shed Road Or BVK Iyengar Road.
3. Vehicles moving from MD Store towards Majestic will reach Majestic via Police Road, BVK Iyengar and KG Road.
4. Vehicles moving from Kalasipalya bus stand towards Hosur Road via KR Road, Lalbagh West Gate, Ashoka Pillar, and Siddapur Road.
