Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali Holidays in October 2025

October 2025 is set to be a festive month for students in Chhattisgarh, with several holidays lined up. Schools will remain closed for six days from September 29th to October 4th to celebrate Dussehra, a festival symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. This break also coincides with Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, a national holiday.

Chhattisgarh Upcoming School Holidays List in 2025 From October To December

In October, Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti will both be observed on Thursday, October 2, as gazetted holidays. Diwali (Deepavali) falls on Monday, October 20 and will be a gazetted and restricted holiday, followed by Chhath Puja on Monday, October 27, a restricted holiday.
