Chapra Election Result 2025: Amidst the poll results of the Bihar legislative assembly election, there are certain regions of the state that are in intense battle with notable key figures. One of them is Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav who turned politician and joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party. However, the latest Bihar poll is likely not in his favor, as BJP-backed Chhoti Kumari is leading the Chapra constituency.
Chapra Election Result 2025:
As per the latest update by Election Commission of India (ECI), BJP-backed Chhoti Kumari is leading in the consistency with 12,611 votes, which is a strong surge of 3,085 votes from last election.
Tailing behind is Bhojpuri star, Khesari Lal Yadav who is representing RJD as Shatrughan Yadav. He currently holds 9,526 votes and is popularity is down by 3,085 votes this election.
Located in Saran district, the Chapra seat is pivotal for Saran Lok Sabha seat. Although Chapra is a general category consistuency, BJP has held its reign for two consecutive term.
In the 2020 Chapra election, Dr C N Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) defeated RJD's candidate Randhir Kumar Singh, by bagging 75,710 votes. This was higher from his win of 71,646 votes in 2015 election.
Khesari Lal Yadav Net Worth:
As per the affidavit filed by Shatrughan Yadav with ECI, his net worth is about Rs 16.89 crore which are movable assets. While he also owns immovable assets worth Rs 7.91 crore.
Further, his wife Chanda Yadav also holds movable assets worth Rs 90.02 lakh and immovable properties worth Rs 6.49 crore.
Apart from this, the Bhojpuri star also holds Rs 35 lakh worth gold jewellery, cash of Rs 5 lakh, and several bank accounts. He bought a Land Rover Defender in 2023, which had an estimated value of Rs 3 crore.
Shatrughan Kumar Yadav (born 15 March 1986), known professionally as Khesari Lal Yadav, is an Indian actor, singer, dancer and model who primarily works in Bhojpuri cinema. Yadav has appeared in more than 70 films, and performed as vocalist in more than 5000 songs. Apart from Bhojpuri, he has also worked in Hindi, Awadhi and Haryanvi languages. In 2019, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13, as per Wikipedia.
Chhoti Kumari Net Worth:
As per the affidavit, Chhoti Kumari owns total assets worth Rs 1.4 crore. She has zero liabilities, zero pending criminal cases and zero serious charges in nature. She declared an annual income of Rs 13.5 lakh.
She is 12th pass and has called social service as her profession.
