Bonus Payout Alert! Infosys Employees in Band 6 & Below to Receive Minimum 80% Bonus After Strong Q1 FY26
Tech giant Infosys is set to reward its employees with an average performance bonus of approximately 80%, reflecting a strong performance in the first quarter of FY26, according to a report by Moneycontrol. The bonus marks a notable increase from last year's average payout of 65% for the same period.
As per details from an internal memo cited in the report, the bonus will be applicable to employees in Band 6 and below, spanning a significant portion of the company's workforce. The enhanced payout underscores the company's commitment to recognising employee contributions amidst robust quarterly earnings and signals positive business momentum going forward.

80% Bonus Hikes for Infosys Employees: Performance-Based Bonus Payouts Across PL Bands
For professionals in the PL4 band, bonuses will range between 80% and 89%. Employees rated as 'outstanding' will receive the highest payout at 89%, while those marked as 'needs improvement' will still receive a commendable 80% of their eligible bonus.
PL5-level employees are slated to receive between 78% and 87%, again depending on their performance category. Those with top-tier ratings will enjoy near-maximum bonuses, reinforcing Infosys' emphasis on merit-based rewards.
At the PL6 level, bonuses will vary between 75% and 85%, with high performers receiving the full 85% and others receiving a minimum of 75%. These bonus letters are expected to be formally issued via employees' e-dockets, ensuring transparent and timely communication of rewards.
