Bitcoin Price Drops, Ethereum Weakens, and XRP, Solana Slides: Cryptocurrency Prices Today, Sept 22
After a bull run seen last week, the crypto market failed to sustain a rally over the weekend, leading to Bitcoin (BTC) price slipping below $115,000. Major altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) also slipped from the recent highs.

"ETH has extended its decline, dropping from the $4,500-$4,600 zone to test the $4,300 level. The price had moved sideways with minor rebounds, but selling pressure intensified as support around $4,400 gave way. This week will be crucial, as Fed Chair Powell is set to deliver a speech on the economic outlook tomorrow, which could set the tone for short-term market direction. Additionally, U.S. Q2 GDP data and August inflation figures are due on Thursday and Friday, respectively." As per the Coinswitch market desk
