Bhopal and Khajuraho Airports Lead AAI Customer Satisfaction Survey for First Half of 2025

In a recent survey by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bhopal and Khajuraho airports in Madhya Pradesh, along with Udaipur airport, were rated as the top airports in India for customer satisfaction. The survey gathered feedback from 60 out of 62 airports nationwide during the first half of 2025.

Two airports, Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and Tezpur in Assam, were not part of this evaluation. The leading airports—Bhopal, Khajuraho, and Udaipur—achieved a flawless score of 5 out of 5 for customer satisfaction. In contrast, Rupasi airport in Assam received the lowest score of 2.65.

Customer Satisfaction Survey Results

The Khajuraho airport, located in Chhatarpur district and famous for its intricate temple sculptures, attracts many international tourists. Its high ranking alongside larger city airports indicates that top-notch passenger services are reaching smaller Indian cities too, according to frequent travellers.

Khajuraho Airport's Director, Santosh Singh, attributed this success to the dedication and hard work of their entire team. "This achievement is the result of our entire team's commitment, hard work and our continuous efforts to provide the best facilities to passengers," Singh stated.

Singh expressed gratitude towards staff, partner agencies, and travellers for their support in achieving this top ranking. "We express our sincere gratitude to all our staff, partner agencies, and travellers, whose support helped us achieve number one ranking," Singh added.

The director also emphasised their ongoing commitment to exceeding passenger expectations. "We will continue to strive to stay one step ahead of passenger expectations in the future as well," Singh remarked.

This recognition highlights the growing quality of services at smaller airports across India, reflecting a broader trend towards enhancing passenger experiences nationwide.
