Bengaluru Weather Alert: Several districts in Karnataka will continue to witness a severe cold wave-like situation and a significant drop in temperature in the coming days. Meanwhile, residents of the Karnataka capital, Bengaluru, will enjoy clearer skies and misty mornings in the coming days.

Bengaluru weather tomorrow is likely to remain pleasant with clearer skies and a mild drop in temperature, as per the India Meteorological Centre report released on Thursday, December 18. For those who are planning their upcoming schedule, here are all the details they need to know.

Bengaluru Weather Alert

Severe cold wave will prevail across northern districts of Karnataka. Meanwhile, Bengaluru is expected to see mainly clear sky. The atmosphere is likely to be filled with mist during early morning hours in some areas. As per the IMD forecast, the maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 28 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius.

Karnataka Weather Update

As per the IMD report, there is likely to be severe cold wave like condition over Raichur of North Interior Karnataka. Additionally, north easterly winds are likely to prevail over North Interior Karnataka and easterly winds over South Interior and Coastal Karnataka.

Dry weather is likely to prevail over all districts of coastal Karnataka, north interior Karnataka, and south interior Karnataka. As per the IMD weather report, there was a significant fall over Raichur, Belagavi airport of north Interior Karnataka and Mandya AWS, Mysuru & Shivamogga of South Interior Karnataka in last twenty four hours.

Meanwhile, there was a significant fall over Karwar and Shaktinagar of Coastal Karnataka and Koppal, Gadag and Dharwad of North Interior Karnataka and Bengaluru HAL AP, Bengaluru KIAL AP, Bengaluru City, Chintamani and Chitradurga of South Interior Karnataka.

Severe Cold In Bengaluru

While, there will be clearer sky in Bengaluru on Friday and coming days, minimum temperature is likely to fall in next twenty four to forty eight hours. As per IMD website, Bengaluru's maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday are estimated to be at 28 degree and 18 degree Celsius. Whereas, maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 28 and 17 degree Celsius, 28 and 16 degree Celsius, 28 and 16 degree Celsius on 19, 20 and 21 December respectively.

As per the IMD report, minimum readings fell to about 12.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, several degrees under the normal December night temperature. The agency's city forecast adds that the minimum may fall well below the long-term December mean, keeping the chill noticeable during early mornings.
