Bengaluru Traffic Alert: To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced temporary traffic restrictions and changes for the next few days. Due to the ongoing white-topping work, the Panathur Main Road will remain closed till 31 October 2025, as per BBMP's official order.

Commuters are advised to opt for alternative routes and roads to avoid traffic congestion and unnecessary delay. The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is carrying out white topping work in the area falling within the limits of the HAL Airport Traffic police station, at Panathur Main Road.

Due to the ongoing work in the area, all types of vehicular movement remain restricted for 21 days from October 10. The order also ensures a smooth flow of traffic.

"Due to the ongoing white-topping work, the Panathur Main Road will be closed from 08/10/2025 to 31/10/2025. The public is requested to follow the alternate route,"

This delay affects both sides of the road from Panathur, under the jurisdiction of HAL Airport Traffic Police Station.

Bengaluru Traffic: Alternative Routes

For those travelling towards Kadubeesanahalli and Devarabeesanahalli from Whitefield and Varthur via Panathur Main Road, an alternative route is available. Drivers can take a right at Balagere T-junction, proceed on Vib Gayar Road, then turn left near Marathahalli Bridge to reach the Outer Ring Road. From there, they can continue to Kadubeesanahalli or Devarabeesanahalli.

Details of Restricted Areas

The restricted area spans from Railway Bridge Junction to Boganahalli Junction. This restriction is part of a project that began around 10 October and was expected to conclude by the month's end. However, further delays are now anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances.

Vehicles heading towards Varthur and Whitefield from Devarabeesanahalli and Bellandur should proceed towards Marathahalli Bridge. They can then connect to Varthur Main Road and continue to their intended destinations without major disruptions.

These traffic changes aim to facilitate smoother travel while construction is underway. Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra time for travel during this period.
