Bengaluru Power Cut Alert, Aug 30 & 31: BESCOM Confirms Electricity Outage on Weekend; Check Affected Areas
The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has officially announced scheduled power outages in Bengaluru for three consecutive days, August 29, 30, and 31, 2025. The company stated that the BESCOM power cut in Bangalore will take place due to essential maintenance work, infrastructure upgrades, and HTLS conductor stringing projects. On Friday, August 29, the Bangalore power cut was effective from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in specific zones serviced by the 66/11 kV Telecom Layout MUSS. Residents of Bengaluru should be ready for more power cuts this weekend.

Bengaluru Power Cut Timings and Schedule
The Bengaluru power cut timings have been fixed to ensure minimum inconvenience while allowing engineers to complete maintenance safely. The power outage in Bengaluru will last for 7 long hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the areas mentioned below.
This BESCOM electricity disruption will extend till August 31, as part of the Sarjapura-Attibele HTLS conductor stringing work between tower numbers 58 and 59.
